I just wanted to clarify a statement from my last post. I said, "But, why was I persuaded the Jesus Christ is the only means by which I could receive salvation?" As I read over that, I realize that what I said is referring to Christ as an means to an end. It's probably a good idea to clarify that this is not at all what I believe. He is not a tool I use to cleanse myself so that I might escape the terror of hell for an eternity. He is the glorious, loving, righteous, jealous, merciful Suffering Servant.

May we never see him as anything less.
