cramming isn't fun
So, I had a HUGE Western Civ test today. Wow...it kicked my butt. See I knew this test was coming and yes, I did look over the information a little. But, last night I started to really study heavy for the test and realized how much information she was expecting us to know. Anyway, I was up until about 2:45 or 3:00 this morning just reading and highlighting and reading and highlighting. Then, I had to get up and go to work at 8:30 this morning. So, that kinda stunk, and I couldn't really answer the 27 point essay question on the test because I honestly didn't even know where to begin.
But, that was all made better when I got to the cafeteria at UMHB, Hardy Hall, and today was chicken fried steak day! You see, our cafeteria is disgusting about 99% of the time. So chicken fried steak days are a blessed retreat from the taste of cardboard that we get every other day of the week. It's those kind of moments that really make you appreciate life.
I'm headed back to Lufkin tomorrow for a four-day weekend, so I don't know how often I'll post over the next few days. Gotta run practice for my speech real quick like and catch some shut eye. Later guys.
