hmm...
I just got through watching a few amazing "Alias" episodes and decided to jot down a few things before turning in for the night.
Blaise Pascal said, "The Christian religion, then, teaches men these two truths; that there is a God whom men can know, and that there is a corruption in their nature which renders them unworthy of Him."
I'm at a point know where those two truths are colliding daily and hourly. I've reached a point of frustration that is slowly leading to a deadly apathy. How do I correct course? How do I turn the ship around? (haha...that reminds me of the old contemporary Christian song that goes -"it takes a little time sometimes, to turn the Titanic around...").
Anyway, if you've attempted the "Christian life" for any amount of time, you know what I'm talking about. Why won't this flesh just disappear? Where's my new life? I guess that's the hope and glory of heaven. But, wait a minute, hasn't the victory already been won? So why did God choose to make things work this way?
These are probably elementary questions to many of you, and if you have an answer, feel free to shoot. But, now I need some sleep. Talk to you soon.
