Misfire

I just got back from seeing "Shooter" with Mark Whalburg. I'm gonna recommend that unless you enjoy action with no plot that you avoid this one. It's quite predictable from the very beginning and contains a lot of details (some larger than others) that make absolutely no sense.

Plus...here's something that bugs me about movies. I don't pay $5 to hear some director spout his opinions about how our "broken American democracy" is the reason why there is evil in our world. You won't find me telling you that America is God's gift to the world, but come on...give it a rest Hollywood.

I will, however, recommend "Flushed Away." It's an animated comedy from the guys who did "Shrek" and "Wallace and Gromit." I've watched it twice in the last two days and laughed more in the second viewing than I did in the first.
