My Heart Is Crushed

As some of you may know, one of my favorite shows on TV is TLC's "Little People, Big World." I can't really explain to you why this little family (no pun intended) from Portland, OR can make me waste hours of my life in front of the tube...but they do. Marathons of the show are especially detrimental to my productivity.

Sadly, Matt Roloff (the dad) was arrested last month after failing a field sobriety test. He was cited and released that same night. All of this according to the celebrity-gossip site TMZ.com.

Honestly folks...I'm not really sure what to think about all this. My grand ideas of a happy little family (pun intended this time) have been dashed against the rocks. I think I need a moment to collect myself.

Plus, I gotta get ready for the new episode that airs tonight.

I'm glad somebody else out there is willing to admit they read TMZ. I do...and I love it.

Sorry about Roloff, but he needs authentic forgiveness from his strange community of watchers/supporters.

(He sure looks happy about the whole mugshot thing.)

I LOVE this show as well. I will start watching a marathon of it and realize that I have been watching for like 6 hours and didnt even realize it. I am sad too but really he probably only had two beers...

Hilsrious, Susie. I have watched many episodes of the show as well. I like it a lot.

I actually encountered someone several years back who believed (and maybe still does) that all "little people" have brain damage. Apparantly this person saw a dwarf on TV who was a doctor specializing in brain surgery. They could not believe that this was possible.

This person was older, I think in their 50s. I couldn't believe they had always thought the brain damage thing was true.
