Update
It's 10:15 AM here at the Methodist Hospital in Houston, TX. I just woke up from a few hours of shut-eye with Clay Walker standing over my face. Believe me, not a sight I'd wish on my worst enemy.
Anyway, he tells us that the surgery went incredibly well. It only took 2 hours (an incredible time for a transplant). Her body immediately took to the new lungs, and as far as an outlook for the future, the doctor said he couldn't feel better about it.
Wayne and Mike will get to see her in about an hour, and she'll be asleep for the majority of the day.
Anyway, I gotta run. Battery power on the Mac is pretty low. Thanks for praying for Cindy and Wayne. God did an incredible thing this morning while you got dressed for church, slept in late, or caught a few minutes of shut-eye on an uncomfortable couch in the Dunn Wing ICU. He's pretty unbelievable, huh?
Love you guys.
