I have decided to quit blogging for a while. Mainly for one reason... my words no longer mean anything because they are not infused with the truth of God and affected by a thriving relationship with him. To really understand what I mean, take a few minutes to read this article from relevantmagazine.com. Also, my good friend Jason Fullen recently posted a list of New Year's Implementations on his blog. The number one implementation was to "spend more time talking to God and less time talking about him."

I feel this is exactly what I do. I have become really adept at speaking about God in a religious way that fools some people. However, I have forgotten what it means to talk to God in that deeply personal way. My words are no longer weighty (they haven't been for a while), and my actions are beginning to show it. So, yes Robert, I am very tired of blogging. I don't know when, or if, I'll start back up. Until then, I love all you guys.

(In the meantime, I really need a male mentor here in Belton. So, if that ever crosses your mind while you're talking to the Father, I'd appreciate it. Thanks again.)
